About Us
The management team:

Edward Shteyman, a former software analyst and a system's architect, developed the idea of
StaffDirector (SD) based on the numerous issues that he encountered while cofounding and
running Essential Medical Staffing - one of the leading healthcare staffing agency in the
New York Metropolitan area. Using his analytical skills of problem solving, Mr. Shteyman has
turned the concept of SD into reality. StaffDirector is a centralized Vendor Management
System (VMS) and a Process Flow Management System (PFMS) that unites scheduling, credentialing,
time attendance, reporting and payroll integration into one easy to use software application.
Having been educated at New York and Columbia Universities and involved in mega-scale projects
such as credit derivatives trading platform and, logistically challenging Real Time
transportation distribution platform, Mr. Shteyman knows about the exigent complexities of
the healthcare staffing industry and has dedicated the last six years of his career to evolving
SD from design to reality. No longer involved in EMS day to day operations, Mr. Shteyman
still serves on its board of executive directors.

Mr. Babaev co-founded Essential Medical Staffing in 2002. Having previous business
experience with a textile manufacturing start up, Mr. Babaev was instrumental in the
expansion of EMS business to new markets. Mr. Babaev has officially joined StaffDirector
team in July of 2008. Prior to that, however, Mr. Babaev served as a business development
consultant to StaffDirector and has been a supporter of the platform from the initial
stages of development. To date, Mr. Babaev still remains on the board of Directors of EMS.

Alex Besogonov is a software architect and seasoned team leader who brings years of
experience in development of complex networked software systems. His previous projects
include a real-time video conferencing system, Internet-enabled messaging software,
scientific data visualization system, data modeling and processing utilities.
Mr. Besogonov has an extended knowledge in the area of distributed systems, which proves
to be invaluable in the ongoing research and development of the StaffDirector platform.
Alex full heartedly dedicates himself to the development of SD system by continuously
pushing the technology envelope beyond its limits.

Before joining StaffDirector in 2007, Larry Schulze directed sales, business development
and operations for healthcare-related firms, most recently with Cytyc Corp. / Hologics,
where he managed sales for its New York City district. Prior to that, he served as
Caribbean Regional Manager with Medtronic, Inc., a leading medical technology company.
Before that, he directed product launches, business development and operations for
healthcare industry startups.
